Plymouth & District Badminton League

Beckly Cup A tournament open to a single team from every club affiliated to the League. Each team receives a handicap calculated on their League position and current form. The early rounds of the competition are played, with plastic shuttles at the club venues whilst the semi-final and final are played at neutral venues such as the Mayflower Centre or Sherwell Hall, again with plastic shuttles.

Christmas Handicap Tournament A mixed doubles, handicapped tournament open to League affiliated players. The pairings do not need to be from the same club or even same League Division and handicaps are calculated according to player ability and current form. Plastic shuttles are used. End of Season Restricted Tournament This tournament is closed to Division One players and Senior County (Firsts & Seconds) Players. Playing with plastic shuttles, there are a range of events - Singles and doubles for Men and Ladies as well as mixed doubles events for Divisions 2 & 3 players. Players from Divisions 4 & 5 have a similar range of events.
